Eat that Green Day - Indie Band Creates Their Own Avatars
(PRWEB) June 21, 2010 -- Brooklyn indie rockers, Audio Fiction’s new music video for their single Race the Hourglass is created entirely of life like Rock Band avatars of themselves, right down to the AF logo on the bass drum. The band was on the debut launch on Harmonix’s Rock Band Network back in March.
Audio Fiction have directed all their own music videos at close to zero cost by making creative decisions on how best to approach making them. The band’s own bassist, Darren Korb actually created the video, assisted by drummer Mark O’Toole. The video was then edited by Dublin based Kevin Cooney. The bassist also authored the song in Rock Band.
Outside of the bassist, the band has internally debated whether they could actually score 100% in expert mode.
Audio Fiction became one of the first bands to use the Harmonix games and MTV’s newly-launched Rock Band Network Music Store for the Xbox 360 to author their own Rock Band song. The band used Harmonix tools to author their track ‘Race the Hourglass’ as their first addition to the Rock Band Network catalogue.
The band's self titled album is available on iTunes, Amazon and Cdbaby.com. Race the Hourglass can be downloaded on Rock Band Network with an Xbox.

Where Do You Want Your Music To Fall Into? The "Biz" Or The "Everything"?
To quote a question from my favorite movie Almost Famous, "What do you love about music?", the answer,"Well, to begin with.... everything!"
