Playing Guitar Hero - The Easy Way

Rocking to the beats of guitar is really exciting. But the excitement multiplies when you play your favorite numbers on the guitar and make others dance to the tune. Guitar hero, the music video game, can cater to your enthusiasm of playing the well known songs on the guitar. It is a rhythm-based video game that you can play on a PS2, PS3, XBOX 360 or NintendoWii with which you use a guitar-shaped peripheral to play with the rock music songs.

Wondering How to play a guitar hero? Well, you need nothing more than knowledge of at least few of the songs present in the game, sense of music, a little bit of patience and your skilled fingers to play the instrument. You need to match the notes that are displayed on the screen playing the controller in time to score points. The game imitates some of the features of playing the real guitar such as hammer-ons and pull-offs. But, once you know the techniques of playing the game you will enjoy the game yourself and entertain your virtual audience as well.

Know Your Guitar Hero

The tricks of playing guitar hero include some of the playing techniques and approaches. Although this mini guitar is not as complicated as the real guitar, you should to know its features before you start playing with it. You can play a note by pushing or pulling the strum bar. However, the combination of pressing the five fret buttons along with the strum bar determines the real notes. The whammy bar, and the start and select buttons are the other controllers on the instrument.

Staring up with Guitar Hero

After connecting the guitar to your gaming console, you will find a few options on the screen such as Career, Quick Play, Multiplayer, Training and Options. The real fun of the game lies in `Career` where you can play 35 different songs with four levels of difficulties. Completion of each set of songs takes you to the next level helping you accumulate kudos and cash. With `Quick Play` option you can play the songs that you have unlocked on `Career`. However, there are 10 unlocked songs by default. Your earning on `Career` will allow you to purchase new unlockable songs.

You need to use two controller plugged-ins in order to access `Multiplayer`. You can also find multiple ways of playing with Guitar Hero 2 and 3. The Face-off splits the songs allowing two players to play the song in Quick Play mode. However, if you are playing with Guitar Hero 3 you can use the `battle power` and attempt to make other players fail. It is recommended that you use the `Tutorial` to know how to play the game. If you want to change any setting, you can do that from the `Option`. If you are using PS2, you can opt for a memory card to save your high score.

Playing the Guitar Hero

Picking the simplest song is the best way to start playing your favorite guitar hero game. Scrolling the fret board on the screen and pressing the corresponding fret buttons on the guitar is the key to success in this game. You can increase your score multiplier by stringing together 10 successive notes. The use of the number of colored buttons depends on the easy, medium or difficult mode of the game. You can also use some advanced techniques such as star power, hammer-ons and pull-offs, squeezing and whammying in the guitar hero game.

Once you master the skill of the game, you can rock and roll with your guitar hero.
